May 1, 2013 Public Opening of “The Vision of May Watts" at the Morton Arboretum
The Sterling Morton Library will be open all day to celebrate the public opening of its book exhibition "The Vision of May Theilgaard Watts". Special art created for this event by students from May Watts Elementary will be displayed in the entry to the Sterling Morton Library. Music will be provided in the May Watts Reading Garden by the band and orchestra students from May Watts Elementary. May 4, 2013 through September 2013: Weekend events at the Morton Arboretum
“Hike the Evergreen Trail or Forest Nature Trail with May Watts”. These weekend nature hikes on the Evergreen Trail and Nature Trail will be led by “May Watts” (a staff naturalist) and will start at the Thornhill Educational Center.
"Reading the Landscape" lecture series in Sterling Morton Library.
“One Room School House Nature Classes” for combined ages at Morton Arboretum.
